First of all, It has a new default theme called “Twenty Ten”. Security issues in this recent version has been fixed and resolved. WordPress has introduced a new API which will allow developers to add options in the theme which will help users make theme changes like changing headers, menus and background easily without even touching the code. another major feature being the long-awaited merge of MU and WordPress, creating the new multi-site functionality which makes it possible to run multiple sites from the same installation.
